People have been telling me the starting salaries in my field are all this high and that I'll make more becasue I have experiance, but I have one question.... WHERE ARE THESE JOBS THAT PAY THIS MUCH TO START BECAUSE I CAN'T FIND THEM!!!!!
Their source is the "National Association of Colleges and Employers".... I wonder if they're hiring.

I never believe that stuff. I think one of those articles said I should be making over 2K more than I actually do.

I think it depends on what part of the country and what company you are going to work for. Plus, everyone has different job experiences and different resumes. If there is an over supply of qualified canidates in one field, it will bring down the salary as well.

I think in another year (2 total), I might be close to making that amount they have listed there. But I didn't have any intern experience or previous relevant job experience, which isn't common..

Officially, my salary is $10,000 less than that, because I could only start out at a certain pay scale with my job. But they made it even.
