View Full Version : Girl issue (possible TMI)

Okay, this might be TMI but I don't know what to do.
Today I am wearing my IPEX bra (which does have some padding) and a fairly thick sweater. The problem is, despite so many layers, I am having a major nipple action (as michelle said, "the headlights are on")
I feel like a freak because this is a constant problem for me. I hate getting bras that have super duper padding because it is uncomfortable and a lot of times my button-up shirts or jackets don't fit w/ so much extra fluff.
Does anyone know what to do? ANd do you think people are raising eyebrows about me?? Today I was talking to my boss and bossess boss and explaining something on a white board..and I know "they" were acting up. Its so freakin' embarassing. :( ugh..even thinking about it now is making me freak..

This is why I always wear sweaters at work- to cover my titty hard ons. :(

It's the bra. I have an IPEX and for whatever reason, it seems to accentuate nipple action. For a $50 bra, I expected some protection. The Shaping Demi's are only $32, and there is never any nipple action.

I never really think about it. Is that weird? I'm kind of too unaware of my body, sometimes, though. Case in point: I have a crewneck button cardigan I often just wear on its own, buttoned up, wihout a tee or tank underneath...well, it's taken to popping open at a couple of strategic buttons. Last week, I had to take a promo picture of the local high school's drumline, and didn't notice that, uh, the buttons popped open while I was taking pics. Word to the wise: the way to get 15-year old drummer boys to smile for the camera, apparently, is to flash 'em the girls, clad in a black bra. I was totally oblivious.

I have this problem w/ other bras too, though. However, I do think it is INSANE that I have this bra on AND a fairly thick sweater and its still happening. Its crazy.

I have on a sweater, this is absurd. I guess I'll just have to wear a parka all day at work :(

I have the Jennifer Aniston Headlight Disorder. They NEVER go away.... hot, cold, good padding... it doesn't matter. I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm fine with it, as long as they're pointing in the same direction... What can you do?

Right, cause that WON'T draw attention :p
Truthfully, I think sometimes we are more aware than other people are.

'bout fell outta my chair at that one. I will remember this one in case I ever start taking pictures of people...
I will have to agree with the shaping demi thing, though. I love that bra. How comfy is the IPEX? I have to admit I had the '$50?! Eff you!' thought running through my head. That bra had better do more than increase my hottness factor; it had damn well better make me tea or something!

Thats probably true that I am more aware than others. I actually caught my boss looking directly at my chest. Maybe it was in my head though?
haha..its gonna be hard for me to be OK w/ this. I'm always crossing my arms when I walk and stuff.

I have a guy in my office that routinely talks to my chest... Even when I'm wearing a turtleneck sweater. Some guys are just like that... there's nothing you can do about it and, if they're not embarassed that you just caught them looking at your chest why should you be embarassed to have one?
Stop crossing your arms and don't worry about it... I think crossing brings more attention to it... It's like the universal sign for "I have nips right now."
Again, as long as they point in the same direction, who cares?

You need to write a book where each page has a nugget of valuable info like "Again, as long as they point in the same direction, who cares?" Your attitude is the best.

My boss has apparently been caught eyeing up one of my female coworkers - who totally called him out on it! - and the one guy won't bring his g/f to company functions b/c our boss is all up on her. Plus, another one of my female coworkers brought a friend of ours to a company function last summer and damned if our boss wasn't all 'haven't we met?' before. Dude - she could be your daughter!
Leave the boobies out of it!

I frequently have this problem, too, because I'm often cold, but like Met, I don't really care too much. Guys are gonna stare no matter what, because I'm hot. LOL.

That's basically the case with me too. Make sure they're somewhat centered and pointing in the same direction and go about your day. Nothing else I can do, I can't cover em anymore than I do.

With a 40DD, something is always sticking out...so guys stare no matter...

Were they always that big? that must have been hard growing up. Especially in PE class and stuff like that.

Yes, I came out of the womb with large breasts.
It was bad when I did track--one day we were out on a run in a residential area and these guys were putting a roof on a house, and they yelled down something like "Hope you don't get a black eye!" The smallest they ever were as an adult was 38D. So even if I lost weight, they don't get much smaller. You'd think they would have gotten me lots of male attention, but no. I think the face repulsed them.

Aw! I'm sure that's not true.
My friend Amy and I always say if you combined her boobs with my ass, we'd make one hot, hot woman.

I second that! The part about the negative comments anyway. I say those guys were just concerned about you damaging such a pretty face.

All I have to say is I believe you DID insult me for not knowing a Seinfeld episode based on one word (ahem bet). So, you gotta take shit for not knowing about that Janet Jackson photo.
p.s. I think you're right about not making that claim. My mind wanders..
