Meet the Fockers

Did anyone see this movie yet? I just watched it last night on DVD. Curious what you thought of it. Good as far as sequals go? Terrible?

i saw it when it came out in the movies. i personally liked the first one better. i thought the 2nd one was kinda cheesy and a lot of stuff had been done in other movies before. and i think all the stars in it still didnt make it any better.

Bizarro - I watched it on DVD this weekend too! I thought it was funny - not the best movie I've ever seen but still enjoyable.

For some reason though, the scene where Ben Stiller was up there on the stage giving a speech under the influence of the truth serum made me horribly uncomfortable - it was just so awkward and terrible it made me want to fast-forward even though it was funny.

Yeah...I too was not overly thrilled with the truth serum scene but cannot put my finger on a reason why...

I thought much of the humor was just rehashed from the first episode..with jinxy the cat and the overbearing dad. There was not any humor that was really unpredictable like in the first one. And there was only maybe one or two times where I laughed hard out loud...the rest just created a smile or light giggle. Not a movie I think I would watch a second time...I have seen the first one at least a dozen times.

First one was much better but I enjoyed the addition of Dustin Hoffman and Barbara to the cast...

I enjoyed it when I saw it but don't think I'd watch it over and over. The first one was better, but I tend to like firsts and not sequals when it comes to movies anyway.

It had its moments, but wasn't nearly the comic masterpiece that was Meet The Parents.

I liked the second one a LOT better. I actually didn't like the first one at all. I'm not a big Ben Stiller fan though, so I might not be the person to listen to. I think his comedy is crude and unintelligent, but I did like Meet the Fockers.

I'm not much of a fan of Ben Stiller either, but watch Zoolander 4..5..6 times...and it becomes HILLARIOUS!

I thought I was going to hate it but ended up really liking it-- thought it was pretty funny. pretty good for a sequel
