Okay, maybe this is just my own personal paranoia..
I got a 1 foot veggie delite from Subway today. Its pretty freakin' big and YES I ate the whole thing (I've been ravenously hungry lately). I check out the nutrition info and it says a 6 inch veggie delite is only 230 calories - which would make my monster of a sandwich only 460. I'm thinking WTF? That cannot be right....
I don't know if I should trust this info, and some of the other info that certain restaurants post. Seems to good to be true. I wonder how they go about calculating the nutrition facts.

Remember, veggies have like ZERO cals in them...

Are there really no calories in veggies? And up until this weekend I wasn't aware that diet coke has no calories.

You're out of it lady! :)
Some veggies do have more calories. But stuff like lettuce, carrots, celery, cucumber has minimal caloric value.

Please don't be offended but you just completely cracked me up! All DIET colas have 0 calories.
Some vegetables have calories, some don't. But most all vegetables are really low in calories.

Haha, yea I really didn't know. But then again I never really questioned the calorie content in a lot of things. What I do know that water has no calories! :p

Did you have any mayo or cheese on the sandwich? That will make the calorie content go up. But if you didn't - you have little to worry about.
Enjoy the sandwich!!!

It is actually illegal for a restaurant (or food packager, or whomever) to report false nutrition information. You could sue Subway for millions, then shut them down. Not a risk they'd be willing to take.
So just enjoy your freakin sandwich! :)

Food nutrional info is government regulated. Veggies are low cal, plus your body has to expel a good amount of energy to digest them.
