Slow day

It's noon. I feel like I've gotten nothing done since 7:30. When I was on the phone earlier, I felt exhausted. Like nothing I was saying made any sense. My daily dose of tea didn't help at all. :frustrate

The crappy part is that I have to get my ass in gear, b/c I'm leaving this afternoon and won't be back in the office until Friday. I'm out all week for three different projects and I have this horrible feeling I'm forgetting very important things. And I have to drive 4.5 hrs this afternoon to my hotel, and then another hour tomorrow morning to the site. Eesh.

Is anyone else having a weird day...?

Yes it's weird!! It's very dark and rainy and gloomy here--the kind of day where I want to curl up and read a book. But I actually am in the mood to do work for once and I don't have that much to do!

I came in mega early (6 a.m. early) to get some extra work thrown my way done. Now that that's over, I find myself really not wanting to do my regular work.

Okay, NOW my office smells like something died in here. Really, honestly, truly. It smells like roadkill on a hot summer day. It is fucking disgusting. I'm calling building management.

i've gotten some stuff done and made a huge list of things to do. Hopefully I can knock it out by tomorrow afternoon

I have a long list of stuff to do, but I spent all last week working my ass off and I already accomplished a few things this morning so i'm going to coast for awhile. I just am not motivated to write some of the things that I really need to be writing.

This morning was way weird. The coffee pot spit up all over the counter, and then I screwed up when I made the 2nd pot so my roommate didn't get any coffee 'cause I didn't add enough water. This is on top of waking up late. My boss and his wife are out of town so no one even got here til almost 10, and I've been bored out of my mind all day. I tried to do homework in my car during my lunch break but ended up falling asleep again. So needless to day, I have been very non-productive. 3 more hours to go and then I leave for class.

I'm actually motivated for a Monday. So odd. I would say I tend to be the least motivated Mondays and Fridays......but then sometimes those days in between can be tough, too. ;)
