I am 26 and majored in finance and real estate in college and then moved back home (New Jersey) and got a job at a bank. Lived with my dad for a year (what an ordeal) and then had my own place in Jersey for a bit.
Hated banking and the corporate world of cubicles and bullshit so I decided to backpack Australia for a few months last year. After I had spent all my money I decided to move to the San Francisco Bay ARea. Since then I have ben working menial jobs and trying to get into teaching. And let me tell you it has been almost impossible for me to stay afloat in the ridiculosly overpriced bay area. I have met a lot of wonderful people and have been having fun, but it really takes its toll on a person when you are on the verge of homelessness every few months, and have to share an apartment with a stranger for $650 a month. As much as I hate to say it the one certabty I have learned since graduating is that todays world is about 1 thing and 1 thing only, Money!!! Kinda sad but true!!!
