Anyone get anxious before leaving for vacation? I'm usually frantic at work trying to make sure all my stuff is covered before I leave. I'm not too worried about it this time. End of month/beginning of month is usually "down" time for me. The thing is I got up at 5 this morning just to clean because I have cousins coming in tonight and over the next couple of days. I feel like crap right now and I'm sure I'll be exhausted for the rest of the day. I hate having to stress out before I actually get to relax. Anyway I guess I just needed to get this mini-rant out of my system. Later...

Im getting sort of anxious this week, but mostly to get myself packed up and make sure I don't forget anything for my CA trip. Work isn't anything I really worry about, because of the nature of my job. I can't rush to finish things because you can't rush experiments. So I just choose not to start anything new until I get back

I get anxious and not only about work and what needs to be done. I sometimes get anxious about the plane ride and having everything go smoothly and if after I leave Ill remember something I forgot to do. i hate that feeling the most. You leave and then remember something you forgot to do and it's something you think about the whole trip.

I leave for the Outer Banks July 9, and I'm spazzing about it now. Here's the deal. I work this weekend (I know, it sucks.) Then I get Monday July 4 off and another two days off because of working the weekend.

I get to choose when the days are, and I would like to take July 4-6 off, especially because I'm fighting a traffic ticket in court the morning of Weds. July 6, so if I could just take the whole freaking day off, great. But then I'd work two days, then leave for a week.

Sounds great, I know, but I might be screwing myself in terms of work not getting done.

Hmm, what a quandry.
