I am having a quarterlife crisis based on the fact that no one on these boards registers and there are all these Anonymous User messages posted all over the place!

My honest opinion is this: if you are going through a QLC and you are looking for other people out there like yourself then how do you expect people to find you if you remain Anonymous? Sometimes I don't even want to post a response if I see that the person is Anonymous because I can't connect with them, there's no name, no identity, no signature! Its like walking into a pitch black room and hugging a complete stranger just because he or she is in the same room!

Maybe I am being a little "over-the-top" but what's the big secret as to why no one wants to attach a name and a location to their questions and queries? Its not like we are on some porno message board or illegally trading secrets? (and if we are why hasn't anyone bothered to tell me?)

I really think we can identify with each other a little more if we can place you in your natural habitat or your home environment! (but then again, maybe that's just me being ME again)

I agree with you completely. Since we are all going through something similar why aren't we doing more to connect with each other (like using registered names in the message boards and actually responding after viewing messages, and using the chat features available)?

Sorry, call me crazy but I really just don't like posting my e-mail address for everyone to get to. I know that I could start a free hotmail one just for this board but I already have enough passwords to memorize.

I just don't like giving out my e-mail address. That's it.

Hi Anon. I am a registered user---though I have not visited in quite a while---but my e-mail does not show to other users.

You can always pick a name and password that you already use elswhere.

You don't HAVE to let your email be seen by others. You can choose that when you sign up.

Ahhh OK, then I'm stupid. I thought you HAD to have your e-mail show.

I'll register later.

My mistake

Honestly, who really cares whether or not a person registers on this QLC message board. I am in the midst of a QLC and view any information presented to me as valuable. I would like to hear from anyone who wants to talk with me. My email address is posted. Thanks Jack
