Since I work in an academic library, I started looking up professors I had in college and grad school. Then I go into the stacks and look at their books and dissertations. I just checked out my undergrad advisor's dissertation--interestingly enough it's about things in the middle east. It sounds corny, I know, but it's weird that there are soooo many random things in my workplace, lol.

I am so glad that everyone else is as bored as I am! I sit here and I watch the people in my office as they work and it baffles me because they always seem to be working yet I am always bored to tears!

I work in a small room with 5 other people. One co-worker comes over and almost TRIES to get me to work.....she will come over and ask me to go through my pile of potential people to employ and tell me what I should call and run by these people.

I think to myself...if I thought they were good for these jobs Id call them on my own....but whatever...guess because Im 22 and have been in the office environment since I was 3.....that I dont know anything and need someone to tell me how to work....

The university I work at has some famous and quasi-famous students there, daughter of the President (crap, I gave where I work away!), some kids of actors and actresses, etc. I try and look for information about them on the school's many websites. I'm not a stalker, I just would like to pass them on the quad sometime, just to say I saw the secret service dudes with their cool earpieces!
