Concerning work, I find that when a person starts out, he or she is met with open arms. However, once you start rising in the corporate ladder and your salary goes up, those who you succeed become resentful. An example would be at my workplace where, 10 years ago, the president's son went from a newcomer who knew very little about the company to vice president in three months. He quickly became the highest paid employer, and it seems like he also received the most resentment from fellow employees. Has anyone out there experienced some resentment from fellow employees after rising in the corporate ladder? Thanks for your reply.
