Isn't there one in every office? Ours is getting married this weekend. Over the last couple of years I swear she would have flowers sent to her cube at least twice a week from multiple guys. It really sucks for the guys in the office because she is getting married.... not because we missed out, but rather she always let all the married guys take the flowers home to their wives.

Why doesn't she take the flowers home herself?

Man, I never got flowers at work. :(

There isn't a girl like that here. My parents sent me flowers on my birthday, which was really nice. Now I'm really not going to get flowers. :p

I've gotten flowers at work - but its always been from my bf.

Why are so many guys sending her flowers if she had a bf? I'm assuming if she's getting married she was with this guy awhile prior.

She was dating several rich guys at the same time. LOL, The reason her name around the office is "heartbreaker"

I wonder if she ever got confused and thanked the wrong guy. Which one ended up proposing??? Was it some kind of competition?

Ew, that's creepy. Like who? Bad dates?

No, mostly people I've had to interview or do coverage for for the paper. It's never the appealing types who latch onto me, either. Only the aging stoners and dirty old men.

I am having a love affair with Blue Moon............ I even found out it's made by Coors and I still love it. But please, it must have an orange slice.

Lemon, you fool. What are you, crazy with the orange? And, yeah, if you want an actually Belgian ale, not a Belgian-esque ale by way of Colorado, go for the Hoegaarden.

Lemon also goes well with Leinie's Honey Weiss, the best domestic beer in existence.

I've gotten flowers sent to me at work before, they were usually from my ex-boyfriend, but a few from some admirers. I always find it thoughtful. I've also sent out a few too.

But the guy who'd send me 6-pack of beer (especially Heineken or Guinness)is a guy out for my heart.

What? no way. Lemon with Boulevard Wheat and orange with blue moon. ALWAYS.

Are you sure she is'nt pulling a cher from clueless and sending herself flowers?

I've never gotten flowers from a guy at work. I'd love it, just to have had them once, but not all the time. I had a roomate that her bf would send her a dozen red roses all the friggin time. They lose their effect after 16 times, buddy.

i got a cookie boquet once, it was delicious. i also got flowers once (they were not as tasty). I thought the flowers were nice, although i am more practical and would have rather had rec'd a t-shirt or something.

it also reminds me of that old question - what's better than roses on a piano.....

Tayl405

I'm not too big on flowers. I always end up killing them. And unless they're something exotic and obviously thought out, it's too generic and don't bother.

Come to think of it, I think I'd prefer the beer over the flowers, too.

One time a co-worker of mine's wife sent a barbershop quartet to sing to him on Valentine's Day. He turned 10 shades of red. I thought it was pretty cute thing for her to do.
