Who gets hammered with the flu in August?

Well...I do.

The last two days have sucked...I think being in the office too much has killed my immune system and I've managed to catch some horrible cold, flu, whatever. I got all of three hours of sleep last night, I'm having chills, and I'm not about to tell you how many ways my body has expelled things. This is EXACTLY what I need. How is everyone else's Monday going?

I'm going to shoot myself in the face now.

I had that a few weeks ago... it sucked. I was sick for a whole week. The only "good" thing was that I already had a fever, so the 95 degree weather didn't bother me so much.

Yeah my throat started feeling weird last night. I took some Cold-Eeze stuff but I hope I don't get anything! I am so busy over the next few days I can't afford to! Maybe a good night's sleep tonight will do it.

Dude, seriously, how many times do I have to tell you to FUCKING GO TO BED?!

Your body needs rest to fight off illnesses. And now that you've got one, it needs rest to kill it.

GO
TO
BED.

I've been sick on and off all summer, because I've had some massively stressful life events and haven't been getting nearly enough by way of rest. When you get run down, you get sick. Your body needs to be in optimum restfulness to keep itself in good repair.

My horrible disease feels like its getting worse... I was going to go to the gym after work but now I feel like just going to bed... I think Midtwenty is right, bed rest will cure all. :(

My mom and sister have it now. I had it but not bad last week. Mid is right, go to bed. I would take along a bottle of NyQuil (or something equivalent)to keep you company.

Totally hitting bed by 9 tonight. I'm dying here. Exhausted. Chills and aches. I actually was sitting here 20 minutes ago going, "Could I have Lou Gehrig's disease?"

Ugh.

It can be food poisoning. However that is usually over in a 48 hour period. Whatever the heck it is get some fluids and go to bed!

Yeah...taunt me. I'm not confined to a wheelchair yet...I can still come over there and do a Russel Crowe-worthy ass kicking for another year or so.

You guys totally have what I had... It's been going around... Don't go to the gym, Bugsey... I learned that lesson the hard way. It'll just set your recovery back. Go home, get some rest, chill out and take meds. You'll feel better in a week.

It's okay. I fully intend to hold the Yankees liable. I mean...it IS Lou Gehrig's disease. They should have controlled him better.
