Going alone to a concert

So I did this tonight and 2 guys came up to me at different times during the concert to hit on me. Is it common for guys to do this?

I'm not seriously considering anything with these guys, at the most it's someone to hang out with occasionally. But again I ask, is it common to be hit on at a concert?

Dazed - I often go to small, indie rock concerts on my own. Sometimes I get hit on, sometimes not. I personally like it better than hanging out with a group of pals, yelling at each other over the music to try and engage in some semblance of conversation.

Thats awesome. I dont think I would go to a concert alone. I have gone to smaller type things alone but then again at the last concert where my friend ditched me I was basically alone the whole night. :(

Yay Dazed! I go to concerts alone often but have never been hit on :(. No one's ever commented on the fact that I was alone either, though.

hehehe...thanks guys :) i guess i was just surprised, that's all. yeah i figure going to a concert alone is no big deal..you're going to listen and enjoy the music. eb - i agree, you usually can't have much of a conversation with anyone anyway so why not go alone? this was actually a concert for a well known group, not an indie one. but i'd go alone to those too if no one could join me.

what concert was it? If these guys were hitting on you at say a britney spears concert then they are sick and that is weird.

lol, no...i dislike that not girl, not woman (whatever she is now). it was a rock group (quite appropriate for a guy to have been at).

You ROCK! I think it's pretty cool you went out by yourself. I doubt they thought you were underage if you were at a concert by yourself. No 17 year old would have the self-assurance to do that.
