Report from New York Times (http://www.nytimes.com/2005/08/11/politics/11intel.html?ex=1281412800&en=3c4c0f2346a58391&ei=5090&partner=rssuserland&emc=rss)
I am not trying to re-hash any September 11th debates, or trying to score points against one presidential administration or another, but I am absolutely astounded that the 9/11 Commission could overlook any information containing "Atta" and "terrorist cell", let alone try and cover it up by making the claim that first they never were briefed on the information, but later retract the statement and claim that they forgot about the briefing. That is just not plausible to me.
Also, does anyone wonder what documents Sandy Berger (former National Security Advisor) stole from the National Archives and destroyed? Anyone else think he should be placed in protective custody & placed on suicide watch while he is in prison?
