Seriously, they do. Have you ever tried to put one of those damn things ON your car?

Imagine trying to put one of the newer ones on your Honda (and there's nothing in the manual about how to get the damn thing on) - and you lived the rest of you life in a state that didn't require front license plates. No wonder it took well over an hour to figure out and get the damn thing on.

It still doesn't seem tight enough to me but I don't think it's going to go anywhere so it'll be fine until I go to a mechanic on Saturday. (I almost left the damn thing off completely. I'm a biologist not a mechanic.)

I *really* don't see the point of the front license plate anyway - it's not like you're going to really be able to record someone's license plate number by looking in your rearview mirror at their front plate. And please tell me how on earth you can prove if you registration is current if New Jersey no longer uses registration stickers? Couldn't I theoretically not pay my registration for the next two years and just drive around?

Anybody know how long it takes for an ez-pass to come in the mail? It seems to take weeks in PA.

I hate it because now because there are two holes in the front of my car if I take off the bracket.
After trying to figure it out and searching online for instructions with no luck, I took my car to a local dealer and had them put it on. They told me they were going to charge but ended up doing it for free.

I hate having mine. I actually have it on the inside of my windshield. But it comes off whenever I leave this state.

The best was the fact that the holes weren't wide enough for the screws they provided (to stick the actual plate on the plastic thing) so I ended up having to McGyver them with a pair of manicure scissors.

But yeah, front license plates suck.
