Ugh!!!!!!!!!!

Once again I am bored out of my mind at work. It is 2:00pm and I have 3 more hours left in the day. What am I supposed to do with myself! I wish I could lean back in my chair and close my eyes for a few minutes. But with my luck, I would be snoring in a few minutes!

Someone please keep me entertained!!!!!!

A friend of mine from college is going to Pitt Law School...I think a few of them are. My mom parents are from West Mifflin (yeah Kennywood) and my dads are from somewhere near South Park.

Thank god for the east coast because Pittsburgh is a crazy town. Especially West Mifflin...very backwards and scary ;)

I work in philly and we have another office in pittsburgh. I wouldn't trade philly for pittsburgh unless the offered me lots and lots of money. Not that I don't like visiting it on occasion.

No that's even better than here in LA, where they will either mad dog you, flip you the bird, or shoot you.

Midlife...

If you don't like LA, why don't you move somewhere else? I know that your job is in LA but maybe look for one somewhere else.

Don't mind my sarcasm, I was just kidding.

I can't think of any other place other than LA that best suits me. Actually, Southern California is the only place in this world that I know. It has the best of all culture mixes, and I love the diversity of people, food, scenary, language, etc. Living in or near LA you quickly learn how to handle your own.
The only real complaint is that many parts of it are ghetto, but if you look pass the ugly, you will see historic memoralia in the surrounding area. To add to that traffic is very heavy, people are unfriendly, and there is no such thing as courtesy, especially on the road. Beyond all that there is really no place better.
I don't feel like I have to blend in ONE particular crowd and associate with the majority (because there is no majority), I rarely have to deal with racism, I can eat every kind of ethnic food I want, I can watch various ethnic channels on our local stations, and living in LA truly identifies what being AMERICAN is all about. It's not about having to be or act like you're "WHITE" or anything of that sort, I can just be me, pay my taxes, and be a loyal and good samaritan/citizen. :)
