I should have left my old job months ago. I absolutely LOVE my new job. I feel now like: Stress? What stress? There will be situations that will arise obviously, but my supervisor basically said I am on the honor system in terms of what I do every day. I feel so stupid for staying in a hellish nightmare place for a year..............

I had a similar experience. It is the best feeling ever. I think you'll find you are actually thankful for that shitty job, because you will appreciate this one much more. I have been out of that job for about 7 months now and I thank the lord every day.

It is just so nice to feel like I am in a supportive environment for once, and people are truly appreciative of what I do (both staff and clients). It is nice to go into work without chaos going on from before the time I walk in the door in the morning. It is nice not getting phone calls after hours about stuff. It is nice just being in an office where people don't bother you. The best feeling is that there doesn't appear to be a whole lot of bureacracy with this population. I haven't run into people yet who try to tell me what my job is, and what I should/shouldn't be doing. I don't work with Nazi dictators. FINALLY!
