I just found out how much of a back-stabbing bitch my supervisor REALLY is... apparently when i had my little disciplinary meeting two months ago my supervisor, the one whose supposed to be my friend and back me up, actually told the business manager that she should FIRE me. The business manager is the one that backed me up and said no that that was ridiculous, let's just talk to her. Now i've been wanting to talk to the business manager about how impossible she's been to me since that little incident, but now i most definitely am going to once she's back from vacation. And I know that the two other people who also report to the same woman have been having some issues with her as well, so it's not just me.
I just cannot express to you guys how fuckin' LIVID i am right now. She wants to get rid of me b/c she knows she's the idiot who doesn't do anything  :(
And I am job hunting, but I need this one until I find something else...

Well today I talked to our internal HR person and she basically confirmed what I already knew, that the issues more than likely are NOT me. And when she heard that ALL of my boss' employees are annoyed thinks we should all go into the business manager and tell her what's going on. Of course she's now on vacation until the end of the month. Regardless if they come w/ me or not, I will at least say something b/c i will not deal w/ this shit anymore. I can only be a doormat for so long.

Maybe you should call her right in the middle of her vacation and tell her (or even leave a message) that all of the employees who are annoyed with her are seriously considering a talk with management about her. And that HR encouraged exactly this tactic when you brought it to their attention.
I'm sure she'll enjoy the rest of her vacation so much better after that.

Yeah, but that's probably not feasible WB.

God, I can't believe the level of BS you've had to deal with at your job. I'm just sorry..it really really sucks and i know how much it must be affecting your mental health and quality of life. I'm going through something similar myself...
Hang in there..hopefully you'll find something soon.

Unfortunately WB the one on vacation is the business manager, not my immediate supervisor... but I have noticed she's been OVERLY nice to me today...hmm perhaps since I was talking to our internal HR person?
though the Bus. Mgr does expect phone calls while she is OUT OF THE COUNTRY on how things are going

it is probably a good thing that your mgr is currently on vacation as this is not a conversation you want to have when you are "livid". you will need to sit down and think about what you want to say, and pull together any supporting documents you ight need. Go slow to hurry up........

Sigh- an update on hell...
Well after getting pissed off for one last time (she accused me of lying to her), today I finally talked to my business manager about my supervisor. I explained to her that I cannot work correctly with someone consistently over my shoulder. Yes, I know she has to look at what I do (thanks to the verbal warning :( ), but not to the degree she has been. And the BM actually agreed w/ me and is planning to talk to her about it. Thank God. She also mentioned to my supervisor that the week she was out, i was in better spirits and she could tell that there was an improvement in what I was doing, and there were no crazy mistakes I might add... If that's not a ringing endorsement to get the hyperactive bitch off my back I don't know what it is. She claims she's going to talk to her tomorrow and then we all get to sit down next week and discuss a plan. Won't that be just tons of fun. I might add that in 4 YEARS this is the first time I talked to the BM about my psycho boss. sigh, rant over..... for now.

I'm sorry, if you have a bad boss it really makes every day of your life a living hell...I went through that with my last job. My boss played insane mind games with me...I didn't even realize the extent of the abuse until I was out of there and finally had a SANE manager.
Hang in there..focus on the future...you'll get something better...
