OK, I was very close with my supervisor at my last job I just left. He had asked me to keep in touch with him even though I left. I left him several messages last week and he still hasn't returned my calls. I am kinda hurt by that. I spoke with two of my old co-workers last week who informed me that things have been crazy since I have been gone from there. I totally don't regret my decision, and think maybe he is just busy, but he also has my home and cell # and knows he can call me at night or on the weekend. Oh well.

Just give him time. I was super close to my old boss, and we rarely have a chance to catch up. I try to keep tabs through a former coworker, the receptionist, who was/is also a good friend of mine.

Naw.

If things are crazy then he probaby hasn't gotten the time to return your call. I've been bad at returning calls/emails myself lately. I wouldn't take it personally.

And if it makes you feel any better, the ad sales dept. I left is also falling apart. Just goes to show how much you did for that dept.

I'm really sad, because it's come to my attention that my old employer (a very small, relatively young grassroots nonprofit) is really struggling in a lot of aspects, including the area I used to work in. It's such an awesome place, it kills me to think that they might be in a bad situation. I really loved working there.

Yeah that sucks. Me though, I hated my last job as you all know. The only main reason I stayed was because of my supervisor. Looking back though, even that probably wasn't worth it ;).

I wouldn't worry about it either. I left a message for a really good, personal friend of my at my old job that he didn't return for over a week. He and the rest of the team have been swamped since my being let go and the other girl leaving (ha ha, that's what my boss deserves!).
