Do you ever just want to hear their voice again?

I have to say, first of all, I am not one of those obsessed ex's. But there are times when I miss my ex so much that I will call in the middle of the day, when i know he won't be home, just to hear his voice on his machine. (*67 is a bad thing). It's not all the time, just once in a while. Man i miss him, i wish wish wish things were different. But they're not. He has moved on, he cannot forgive and forget my past mistakes. Anyway, I just wondered if i'm the only 'Bridge Jones' out there!

i suppose. thing is, even when we weren't dating (we've dating on and off for 7 years), we were always friends. we could always call, if only just to say hi. he doesn't want that now. he wants nothing, and i understand. but my heart is really really sad. :(

I keep thinking I'm totally over him.

Then my closest girl friend hangs up on me for mentioning his name yet again.

Though I've never even considered calling him, much less anything else that would artificially bring us into contact.

Of course, I see him all the time by default of having the same interests in not that big a city anyway.

Your 'closest' girlfriend hung up on your for mentioning his name? K seriously, my friends are there for me no matter what, as i am for them - even if they don't agree with me hanging on to false hopes, they still stand by me. NO offence but that is really not very nice of your friend to do that.

u guys are right, i am not helping myself. i need to just take it as it comes and not go out of my way to make myself feel sad.
