...Do not stay up until 3:30 am on a work night. I'm a fucking zombie, and those are always the days when you have to deal with every backwards ass fuck on the planet. :madder:

Just one of those 20 minute phonecalls that doesn't take 20 minutes.

I gotta say it was good, but I was in that weird sleepy stupor. I seem to remember the conversation taking a very inappropriate turn at one point. :D

Sounds to me like you just wanted a reason to tell us about how f'ing lucky you are! :p

I wish I had someone that I could (and actually WANTED to) stay up and talk to till all hours of the night! *sigh*

Have fun tonight! :)

Yeah, that too. :)

This will actually be the first time I meet her in person. It's weird because we've talked on the phone a few times over the last week, so we've already got an idea of each other before we've even been on a date!

You should have heard us last night. We were asking each other very personal questions, but we were rewording them so we didn't come right out and ask. Needless to say, certain vital statistics were exchanged.

Meatwad I feel your pain!!
I was up until about 330 last night as well....and in the past 2 weeks I think there has been one night that I actually got to bed around midnight.....every other night has been 2am to 5am....and still getting up at 7am for a full day of work and going out each night.

Same though...been up talking and hanging out......nothing better. Its worth being tired!

I will ALWAYS sacrifice sleep for getting to know somebody new better. That's just where my priorities lie.

The date is ended. I am home. She was sick (wasn't an excuse, she's been sick for a week). There was smiling, a hug and a goodbye. She asked me to call her tommorow and we both have Saturday off. Hopefully this means a second date.

She was 10x better looking than her picture and she smelled reaaaaaaaaally good.

So meat's got a hankerin fer another date. I'm gonna ask her if she wants to go on a haunted hayride this Saturday with some friends of mine (she doesn't really know a lot of people in the area).

What do the ladies think? Good idea? Bad idea?

Just be careful of how many other people you already know are going, sometimes meeting a large group and scare someone off too :)

Yeah, there's about six of us so I'll make sure she knows that. The ride isn't until around 7 or so, so I'm thinking maybe we could hang out that afternoon and spend some time just the two of us for a while.

I text messaged her at lunch cause I didn't want to bug her at work. She said she thinks she's going to go visit her sister this weekend instead. Last night she said she wasn't doing anything.

Call her later or tmw night and make definite plans for next week. Don't take no for an answer. She'll either (1) go or (2) tell you she likes you as a friend or something. Either way, you don't drag it out or miss this (or other) opportunities.

I'm trying not to get hooked to fast with this one, but she's really cool and it's not easy.

Bugsey34
10-19-2005, 02:13 PM
Yeah I agree too. Maybe there are outside circumstances with the sister or something that she has to go there, but try again and see what's up. You'll probably find out fast, and if there's any weirdness, move on.

Welcome to the love sucks club, Meatwad. I'm the current president. I make myself feel better by thinking that we're all going to die from the Bird Flu anyway, so what difference does it make?

Yeah, dude...give it one more chance, the conflict may not have been a polite brushoff. If she does it again, it was, you'll know, move on.

And for the record, the hayride thingie is an awesome idea, imo.
