I need some techie advice. I already have a wireless network set up in my house and I'd like to add a printer to it. What do I need to do? Do I just buy a wireless usb adapter for the printer, or do I need a special wireless printer??

Does your printer have wireless capability built into it? Some newer HP models I know have it already, otherwise yeah, you probally need an adapter.

I'm going to get a new printer, but I was thinking one of the cheaper $50 models, especially if i need to buy a $30 adapter, but maybe it would make sense to spend a little more on the printer. I'll have to check out the HP's. Thanks Coll!

There are two ways to add a printer to the network.
1. Connecting the printer to a computer already connected to the network. This computer will need to be on anytime you want to print something though.
2. Connect a printer directly to the network. The printer would need to have network capability already or you'd have to buy a printer controller that connects to the network.
Option 1 is probably cheaper, potentially significantly cheaper.
