Hair falling out at age 24?

I'm a girl and my hair sheds like mad. It is starting to scare me, because i can notice that my hair feels SO much more thin. Is this just natural? I really hope it grows back. :( But when I'm just sitting there I notice a hair every other minute that appears on me.

If it's a sudden thing maybe you should ask your doctor, but for me, I have always lost tons of hair. My hair is pretty fine but I have lots of it, and I lose tons and tons all day, my hair is on everything. It's just the way it is, it grows really fast, too, and it's not a bad thing.

Well, I'm male, so it's not the same, but my hair has been falling out since I was 19, and now I am totally bald on top. You should get it checked out if you think it's more excessive than normal.

Have you experienced a dramatic weight loss recently? That's what caused my hair to fall out as a teenager. (And I have a full head of hair now, so you don't necessarily have to worry! :))
