It's a pretty good song. I simply love that album though, and normally I'm not much of an R&B guy. It's a little more than just that though. For me the sweet spot on the disc is "Hombre" and "10 Dollar", the latter of which I simply adore (but due to the subject matter, I wouldn't have called upbeat).

Hands down the best upbeat song of alltime in my book
Mellow Mood by Bob Marley and the Wailin Wailers
I mean that song grooves so much it's not even funny, "Ill play your favorite song darlin' we can rock it all night long darlin...." When I had my band in San Francisco I once performed that song with a Bass player and 3 drummers on April 20th.... :D That was a damn good night!
And a second place vote to Stay Human by Michael Franti and Spearhead
Also a kick ass song.

Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield is my favorite right now:
Feel the rain on your skin
No one else can feel it for you

Live your life with arms wide open
Today is where your book begins
The rest is still unwritten
