I came across a link that said John Kerry refused to fill out the NPAT. Does anyone know why?

Pretty clear. Why submit to this kind of questioning when you haven't even won a nomination? It's suicide. It can only be used against you.

And bear in mind, Bush and Dean haven't filled out this NPAT thing either.

I realized that as I looked at the other candidates they didn't fill them out either. Do you have any good webpages where I can check out the candidates issues and views?

JKU---what is your opinion of Howard Dean? Just curious :)

Reading a VARIETY of articles from all sources is a great way to understand these people. Not just ONE single site.

In re to Dean...
I like his attitude. Tough, and critical.
But he wasn't a Senator, so he didn't have to vote for/against the war. He can easily take any position now.

Kerry's been a Senator forever. Remember, Dean's a small state Governor.
I think the fervor behind him is because finally a DEM is talking tough and questioning Bush on so many outright inconsistencies and lies.

But if he got the nomination and ran against Bush he'd be in over his head. No money, easily slandered as "too liberal," and he'd be busted on gay marriage, as that was one of the biggest accomplishments in his state.
Karl Rove loves Dean - doesn't that scare anyone involved with that campaign?

That's a good point, about Dean not having to vote for/against war, since that's a huge critique antiwar peeps have levelled against Kerry.
