I think I am officially done, although I might let my boyfriend order one more gift online. I went to the mall after work today and got my boyfriend his gifts, and then finished up in Godiva. Got the extended-family boxes of chocolate in there. At $15.00 a pop, I hope they are appreciative!!

I did it all on Sat. One shot deal. It was the only day I had.

Holy moly, no I'm not done! I always do a really good job starting out and then I stall. Like right now I am probably 90% done: we had the exchange with my in-laws this past weekend so I HAD to be ready for that, and then I am ready for everyone on my side of the family but two people. I was supposed to have tomorrow off work to finish up all those chores before we drive to Virginia on Wed., but now I have so much work left to do that it is spilling into tomorrow, so now I basically have tomorrow night for those two remaining gifts, plus doing laundry before our trip, plus now we're supposed to go to my sister-in-law's house for dessert tomorrow night. How the heck am I going to get it done?

Done as of Friday, but I am still waiting on one more gift to come in the mail, which I doubt will arrive before Christmas. But as far as buying, I'm done and it' nice to have money again, LOL.

You have a baby! Pity those who think you should still get them gifts!
Besides, 3.0 is a gift for Steve, your parents and his parents. Everyone else can suck it!
I think I'm done. I feel like I have forgotten someone or something. Oh well.

I'm all done, but not one gift is wrapped. Since I'm flying home for Christmas all my gifts are tightly packed in a huge suitcase. It's actually better that they aren'ts wrapped because I have more room. As soon as I'm off the plane, I'll met up with my sister at her terminal, pick up the rental car, drive to a Target or Walgreens, buy wrapping paper and pick up two more gifts that won't fit in my suitecase, but I already know what I'm getting.
Now that I live a state away from my parents, I'm actually really, really excited to go home for the holidays. It makes me appreciate them and the whole family gathering stuff a lot more. :)

It's probably a good thing that you didn't wrap them, since security might have to open them....

Well that was my whole reasoning to why I didn't wrap them. Then when I started packing up my suitcase, I was really glad I didn't wrap them up because I was shoving a bunch of stuff just to get it all to fit and I would have messed up the wrapping and the boxes.

All done. I really just buy for family, and they're all notoriously picky, so they get gift cards! WB and I are just taking ourselves out for a really nice dinner the day after Christmas. :)

All done except for the "day of shopping" where my bf and i go out and spend $100 on each other and make a day of shopping. I always love that.

I am finished too. I have been done shopping and wrapping for about a week or so now. This is the earliest I have ever finished!

I gotta say...I think this is one of the cutest, coolest most fabulous things ever. It is such a fantastic idea that I might rip off when I have someone serious enough for that sort of thing.
:D I highly recommend it. It's much more fun than just picking out something random and then you get to spend time together.

I finished my shopping the first week in December, and everything was wrapped the start of last week.
I even have a few of those extras wrapped in case someone stops by with something, or I find that I need to bring something into work.
Phew!
Sadly.....Ive already started on next year. As soon as I see an item someone will like, I pick it up, so I dont find that I cant get it.

I won't wrap until Christmas Eve. It's what my mom and I always do.

I still need to get my mom some more stuff- so far I got her some CS Lewis books. And I need to pick up something else for my brother. I had a basket from Harry&David sent to his house. He LOVED it. Oh, and I do need to get Greg's present- a Diploma frame from his law school. So I have a lot to do. :(

Thanks pi. I actually went yesterday in a super marathon shopping spree and got everything. So I'm done. I just have to wrap it all now. I might do that today, since yesterday pretty much wore out me and the baby both and I have no intention of even sticking my nose out of the house today.

I finished shopping last week. I already wrapped and mailed everyone else's gifts. I have half of S's gifts wrapped. He has not wrapped any of mine yet and I am banished from the guest room so that I may not see the wonderful giftage. We got the BEST gift from S's parents. They traded loans with us. We will now pay S's school loans (which they were previously footing the bill, lucky bastard!:)) But now we have next to no credit card debt because they gave us the money that was being used for the school loan. YAY! Gone! All the debt that we got into after school being broke ass poor! Gone! Whooo hooo!! :D

^ I bet that's a great feeling! Can't say I'm in the same boat.
I pretty much finished-up shopping last night. Had a few DVDs to get. I went to suncoast and for every DVD you got you could also buy this Fuccons DVD for $3. Looked interesting so I got it. Anyone familiar with the Fuccons? It is very bizarre.

I'm confused...this is good? Was your CC debt more than his school loans??
Mid, you went shopping all day with a 4 month old? Wow. I'm always amazed when I see moms with REALLY little ones. I'm like, how do they do it? I don't think my friend did very much out of the house with her baby when she was that little...or at least had someone else with her to help...but everyone is different.

I was officially done on Tuesday night, but now D is dragging me with him to the stores on Friday. Oh the agony! I don't want to deal with all the crazies 2 days before Christmas.

I'm all done and everything fits in two suitcases. Hopefully my bags won't get inspected because the TSA will just be pissed off trying to get everything back in my suitcases. And if they do inspect it, everything better be there! I made sure all the gift cards are in my carry-on luggage. The other stuff I can always replace. Then when I get to my parents' house, I get to wrap all of those gifts!

I just have to pick up my boyfriend some last minute gifts. I think I am going to get him some video games. I am planning to go tonight after my client meeting.

Nope, but they're paying the difference since they were going to pay the loan anyway. The school loan has a much longer repayment time and a much lower interest rate. It works out well for us financially, especially since we want to refinance the house next year.
OK, threadjacking over. ;)
