I guess I just don't know how someone could have any respect for themselves, because you know that 90% of the sex was probably meaningless. I'm not saying it is bad to have that once in a while, but come on...

There are definitely girls and guys like that (attractive girls have it much easier to get those high numbers, not that you would want to or anything). Most of them were probably abused sexually as a kid and are trying to become the dominate person when they couldn't as a kid. Other's just like having sex, but don't want to feel like they belong to one other person.

Then you get into the porn stars, escorts & working girls. Some of those could get into the thousands.

If she wants to have sex with that many people its her perogative. Honestly, maybe she was safe with all of them....does that change the opinion about it being dangerous?

I know a guy who was kicked out of 3 schools because he would end up sleeping with all the girls (and sometimes a few teachers, or teachers assistants) his grand total now is somewhere near 300. He isnt slutty, he just enjoys sex. Of course now he is married and his wife pretends like that part of his life never happened (mostly because he was her first and only)

Same here... except they weren't my friends.. and to me they were slutty, heheh :p

But seriously, there were two girls in my sorority who would go to the Marine barracks, pretend they were lost, have guys help them, then bang 'em. And then tell each other about all their conquests. Even other Marines I've talked to know about these girls. They really got around!

She'll be 26 in February, I think, and last I heard, she has two young daughters......to two different men. This girl DEFINITELY had a boatload of issues, stemming from a bad home life. It's sad.

I was joking with a guy i knew about how many ppl he had slept with. We came up with about 60 names. Those were just the ones that we could come up with off the top of our head, and most of them had been in memphis. He is from wisconsin, he said there were plenty more back home. We figure he was close if not over 200 and that was at least 2 years ago.

She started when she was 14? Is she including all kinds of sex? Over 9-10 years, that's like 9 people a year to get to 100. Is it high, yes, but when you look at it that way, you can see how it could happen... You date a guy for a month and sleep with him, break-up shortly thereafter, a few one-nighters... It's not THAT out there. I wouldn't be bragging about it on the radio, but I don't think it's totally out of control, either.

I disagree. The terminology is just different. A girl would be a slut, a guy would be either a pervert or sketchy.

Some girl called up to my local radio station this morning, because they were having a discussion on sex and what is considered a "slut". She was like "i have had 100 sexual partners and I'm 25...but I am not a slut". Then she went on to say that she "just loves to bang".

So then they asked her when she lost her virginity and she said age 14 to two 30 year olds. WTF? :eek: :confused: Then they were asking her if she thought this was a little off the wall...and she was all "no, I enjoyed it".

I guess what I am trying to say is...do you think that the fact that the thing at 14 happened to her turned her into that? Or are some people just sex-aholics? I mean sure, everyone loves sex but 100 people? That's not even slutty, that's just straight up DANGEROUS. I was really grossed out by the fact that she didn't see anything wrong with it, and kept laughing when she was telling the DJs.

i find this post more than a little offensive. let me explain why: a 14 year old cannot give consent to two 30 year olds. no way, no how. a 14 year old is a child.

it's illegal. period.

also, a woman who has these kinds of problems deserves sympathy not judgment. i'm sure she has a lot of issues, even if she doesn't realize it yet.

here's a little bit of info. some people who have early traumatic sexual experiences (such as child abuse, incest, etc) will go on to be promiscuous as a way of abdicating their feelings of violation. you hear this over and over again from people in the sex industry and it's very sad and i am sure painful for them and not something to be made fun of.

I have a friend who was once a love interest. She doesn't understand real intimacy due to having a crappy father and home life, and as such, substitutes physical intimacy for love.

I hate to see her do that to herself, but I can no longer waste my energy trying to help her.

This chick reminds me of the "talk" my father had with me when I was twelve. He said if a woman's giving it up really easy ask her and yourself, "What did I do to deserve this?" because there's a price you're going to pay. I shook my head at that little bit of wisdom back then, but when I hear stories like this I think "Damn, he was right."

I'm not saying it's not believeable, I just don't think it's something you call up a radio station for, especially if it's just to say "I had sex with 100 guys." Sex addicts are usually ashamed or secretive about their behavior.

i think this comes across as really judgmental. i'm not sure if that was your intent. it sounds like a lot of blame the victim crap that people spout when they really don't know anything about child abuse and how painful and shameful it can be for people. how about blaming the 2 30-year-olds who had sex with a 14 year old?

seriously people, i have a 14 year old nephew and he is a child!

here's a stat for you. i got this from the dept of justice website:

one of the best things i have learned in my life is that there are a lot of people out there who have had a rough time (and sometimes a rougher time than i have) and they deserve sympathy not judgment.

Well, the woman claimed she had the best childhood. Maybe something happened that she has repressed? Who knows... but she was really, really insisting on the fact that she had a great childhood and never had any problems and that she just "loves to bang".
