I saw a special about ice sculpture the other day. One of the guys said that it's not really so disapointing as you might think because he can do a sculpture in stone that would take him a month or more, or weeks in wood, and finish it in an hour or two in ice. The ice is so easy to work with that you don't need much effort to finish a piece.

thats interesting. it still sucks though. It was a nice sculpture and I would hate to see anything I worked on shatter like that even if I didn't have to put as much effort into it. :(
