Guess Whose Back....back Again

I have missed chatting for the longest time! I thought I would post quick and catch people up to date...and they can do the same to me!

Well...Laid off in April....grandfather died same day.....job hunted and hunted....and hunted.....resigned myself to get out of house and work at day camp to keep sanity.....
Landed GREAT job 30 seconds from my house....put off working until after 6 weeks at camp (also wanted to have FUN on my Bday and not have it be my SECOND day at work)

Just celebrated my 23rd b-day....and my BFs was the weekend before. We took out a 14 person limo for his and to surprise me he rented a 10 person one for me the Sat before my Bday (I called all my friends which he told me to do and get them to come to Newport...NONE came out that sucked)

Had a tremendous Bday...counselors bought me a cake at work....lots of cards and hugs...my BF surprised me at work...and I wish he could have cmoe to dinner but my parents would have flipped..so the sweety camped out in my town for 4 FREAKING hours waiting for us to finish....then cake with him and my parents....
Then to Chilis where all my camp friends drove 20-40 minutes to MY town to have drinks and chips =)

Im now sick as anything with a gross cough and cold...docs tonight...and Im sitting at my new desk...

Ok thats the news for now......CATCH ME UP WITH ALL OF YOUR LIVES!

Here I was trying not to be self indulgent and YOU point out what I got for my Bday gift----

Ok my parents got me stuff I needed...sheets..hairdryer...some nice smelling candles...bla bla lba

AUSTIN.....he got me a white gold necklace with a pendant in a tear drop shape.....in the tear drop is a 1.8Karat Diamond!!! HOLY MOLY :eek:

My parents were LESS than thrilled though. I opened it with Aus on the Sat before the limo thing..knowing that just showing it to my parents would be bad news....I told Aus I would open it again for cake...

so I open it. My parents get this look of GROSS.....and the next day my Dad tells me he was embarassed...and that he basically thought I had asked Aus to get it for me. My Dad "Did you tell him to get you something expensive and shiny or else?" Me: NO!

Then my Dad goes on about how Aus is paying for school and shouldnt afford things liek that...I basically said its Aus' $ and what he does is his choice and knowing him he saved up for it...

But what a way to suck the fun and niceness out of that gift...now I feel guilty wearing it!

Leasing assistant at Coldwell Banker.....career change.....I could do real estate----Im learing...lets say that.

Its good $ WICKED bennies....people are nice..down to earth boss....

Ive decided LONG TERM....I want to end up being a camp director....what a job!
