Battlestar Galactica - so hot right now

I don't know what's sadder--that the return of new Battlestar Galactica episodes today was probably the highlight of my week, or that I mixed a Zoolander reference into my thread title. Or maybe that I'm posting 24 minutes after it aired.

Whatever. :D Anyone else catch the new episode tonight?

How so? I'm still wondering if she is somehow going to survive the cancer. The little part about "get me one of those nice young Cylon models" (or somesuch) kind of gave me a chill.

That part surprised me and the part where she was said to Adama, "You know you're going to have to kill her right?"

My roommate watches this, and actually, it isn't bad. I am looking forward to the next episode.

I just zoomed through this thread in case anyone wrote anything about the episode, but I have it recorded through my DVR and I'm waiting until this friday so I can watch both parts at the same time :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE this show. I'm not usually into the star trek type stuff, but this is just so much different, way more about the people and more believable too.

Ah, see, I was just the opposite. When I was younger, I was a complete Star Trek: The Next Generation fanatic. And then when I started getting old enough to appreciate good writing (not that all the writing in ST:TNG was bad, but there were certainly a fair share of stinkers) I started leaning more character-driven stuff like The X-Files and Firefly.
