Does Paxil Cause Sexual Side Effects

im taking paxel for anxiety and im worrying....ofcourse.....if it causes sexual disfunction for women....like you cant climax or u dont get aroused anymore.......has anyone here had this happen??? thank u

I don't use Paxil but I have a female friend who I know pretty well who was on it and that was her main complaint about it -- sexual side effects in that she couldn't climax. Eventually she switched over to Zoloft which reduced the side effects but probably didn't work as well for her.

I Know a male family member who used it. He said he had trouble performing while on it.

That's one of the major side effects of any SSRI. I know people who have taken Paxil who said that it eliminated their sex drive.

I took Effexor and it delayed it, but that isn't a bad thing for me . It went from 4min to 8min to reach the first one, I don't know what would happen if I was with a girl. Johnson & Johnson are going to be coming out with a drug pretty soon to give people this side effect. The problem is every guy is going to want to take it long with Viagra so they can go all night.

The sensations don't go away or get reduced, it is just frustrating that what used to get you off doesn't work as well anymore.
