Fridays should end at 3.

It's 3:00 on Friday, and I am SO DONE working for the week. So now I guess I'll just chill out for two hours...

Seriously. By this time in the day/week, anything that hasn't gotten done is totally going to get procrastinated to Monday.

Does anyone do work late on Fridays?

I often work until 6 or 7 on fridays. I also work until then on monday, tuesday and frequently wednesday.....lol.

I just sent a gigantic set of drawings out the door to a client at 3:30 that I have been working on for days so I am in total decompression mode right now. Of course I have a list of a ton of other stuff to do, but I am NOT staying late tonight and I am totally not motivated to get going on something new right now...I am seriously debating cutting out and heading home now. :) I was here until 9:00 last night working on the project that was due today, it's not like I'm cheating my employers out of any hours or anything.

Late Fridays aren't so much an oddity for me. It is funny that you mentioned 3 o'clock because that was exactly what time it was when I pretty much gave up for the day. Unfortunately I definitely need to do some work over the weekend or my ass will be handed to me on Monday.

I totally agree with you. In fact, I left town at a little after 3 yesterday because I was all done with my work. Then one of my editors left me a message around 5 that day (fuck!), but when I called back, he wasn't there. I never did find out what he wanted.

My days normally end at 3:30 so I usually set it up so that anything major is done by 3 or pushed off until Monday and then I tidy up and zone out until 3:30 and then out the door I go.
