OK...as I mentioned, I will have a one-hour video conference interview on Friday in New York, rather than have to fly to Boston. In a way, it's great for several reasons: (a) I don't have to travel, (b) it will be short and sweet, (c) I don't have to deal with shaking hands, which I'm horrible at, (d) I don't have to worry about small talk, and (e) I don't have to worry about the dreaded interview lunch.
But...I've never done a video conference interview before. Has anyone done one? Could you give me an idea of what it's like? Where do I make eye contact? I also know I look awful on video, so that's another concern.
