I am SO kicking myself right now for losing my 2 week new iPod at the gym last night. It was so new that I hadn't even removed the film on the screen yet because I was waiting to get the protective case. I held back 4 months to buy it because I was trying to save money. I called the gym twice last night and twice today and no luck. It's gone.

Last month, I failed to transfer $ into my checking account before withdrawing from the ATM. I had more than enough money in my savings and could've transferred w/ a simple phone call. I was only short $8, but the penalty was $25.

That's TWICE I've screwed myself in the last few weeks! The mistakes keep getting more and more expensive. I don't know how I'm going afford my own retardation! Does anyone else share the same feelings/experiences?

*sigh* I just want to cry right now and had to rant. Thanks for reading.

Are you allowed to post a "Lost" sign at your gym?

If so, tell the asswipe that took your IPOD that he will be going to hell if he does not return it to you. Or something along those lines......

Ouch, that sucks. I've been there though. Totally sounds like something I would do... and i've done the checking thing twice now, $5 overdraft and $25 fine. Or there's the payment for the CC one day late, forgetting to pay a parking ticket until 2 days after the fine doubles, buying a car wash at the gas station then forgetting to do it; I could go on and on :googly:. And then there's the stupid work mistakes....

Today the guy who answers the main phone at work went home sick, and during the three hours I was stuck covering I managed to hang up on one customer and the disgruntled CFO. I rule.

I thought I lost my laptop. It was at my parents' house. Thank GOD.

I make so many careless errors in life (and work) that I probably lose about $1,000 a year because of idioticies.

Not only have I been there but I've done exactly that too. Sorry about the ipod. I'm grieving with you.

How weird that you posted this today... I was literally in tears when I got my mail today... I use a mail-prescription program and earlier this week I got online and selected the prescription I needed refilled. I got it in the mail today and it's the wrong prescription ... it's one of mine, well one I USE to get but I don't take anymore and will never take again. They automatically withdrawal the fee from my account and when I called to find out what to do they said they don't take back prescriptions after they've been mailed. Because they have no seal or anything to show if they've been tampered with. So... I had to have them refill my CORRECT prescription and I'm just out this $40.00. That's great way to go idiot! :(
