Google it my friend, and you will see. It's a funny video about a bunch of guys playing a video game and they spend like 5 minutes planning out their strategy. And then Leeroy comes in.

Are you using those extra sensitive ones?
If not, try those (the thin, but durable kind).
If that doesn't help, then...the pill?

I think this is absolutely horrible advice. You don't just "think someone doesn't have HIV or something" and then decide not to use protection. There are a lot of other STDs out there in addition to HIV. And you can't tell who has or doesn't have them.

Dude, it sounds like it's just a practice, trial and error thing. I wouldn't worry about it...just be up for more practice. Of course, that works best if your partner is up for the practicing and experimenting and figuring out what works and what doesn't, as well.

Are you kidding? Do you have any idea the number of STDs that don't have visual symptoms at all times (in some cases, at all?) If you're counting on a visual onceover of the undercarriage keeping you safe and clean, I cringe to think of the people you've been sleeping with and what they may have been exposed to.

STD status being impossible to know without a medical test isn't exactly an opinion.
And girlfriend or not, if she hasn't been checked out, then, no, he doesn't know one way or another if it's all good. Somebody being your girlfriend or boyfrined doesn't make them STD-free.

And a lot of the time STDs that women show symptoms for men don't. And there's incubation periods where the woman is contagious but hasn't showed symptoms yet. Or STDs where there are latent stages so also no visual signs.

How can I not be a moron? She said she "didn't have any std's", but, really how do I know? Did I ask her if she'd been tested recently? No. I knew I was fine, cuz, well, its awfully damn difficult to catch something if you're not getting any. Now? I'm not so sure. This is a quandry that I had not anticipated. Do I trust her? yes. You didn't answer earlier, as is your right, about how long you ordinarily take to "finish."
If you're somebody who requires a lot of stimulation, you're going to have to figure out some mutually agreeable way of achieving that. Because that's one reason for a delay...insufficient stimulation.

I still don't get why going for an hour is a bad thing...
Well, I can see how it could be if it was one position..which it sounds like it is..

Longer is preferable to shorter. Providing you don't blow out your knees. Or, say, break a headboard.

Yes. I don't really care. We've gone for longer... but still! I guess I could use a little variety throughout the course of the evening? Suggestions on how to bring this up to the wonderful girlfriend???? as in "say this" not "stick foot in mouth"

Hey, some guys get off sticking a girls foot in their mouth.

An hour in one position? Ok, that just says uncomfortable to me, not hot. I'd say prolong the foreplay for as long as you can and see how that works out.

Yeah, buy a copy of the Kama Sutra. Or, even, the latest issue of Cosmo. You need some variety.

I am male, and I do not enjoy receiving oral sex.

Don't talk about it. Just do it. Flip her on her side, throw her legs in the air, etc. Take control! Women love that..at least I do.

Perhaps you're not into her. I know I have to like a girl to really enjoy the sex. I've tried to do the fling thing and it wasn't that good. Or maybe you're not ready to have sex with her. Either way if you're not into her or in the mood things may not workout as you'd like.

Um, no. Guys who start throwing me around without warning really piss me off. I'm not gumbi and if it hurts I'm not doing it. I'm guessing that given that she already said she doesn't like giving BJs that she's not the type of woman who enjoys being dominated.
I second the Polyurethane condom suggestion. They are quite a bit thinner than latex. I'm not allergic to latex but I prefer these. I prefer Durex Avanti to Trojan because Trojan only makes them with spermacide and I find that irritating.
Also second the more foreplay recommendation. It get yourself more aroused before you start penetration and it won't take as long, I'd think. Foreplay is fun anyway.

Are you on anti-depressants or any other drugs? Have you tried the polyurethane or female condom? There is also a psychological part to it as well.

I wonder how often it occurs that psychological factors contribute to finishing over quickly versus the opposite.

I don't see what the big deal is about finishing too quickly. If you finish, you just go a second time!

All I'm saying is its a turn-off for me if a guy has to discuss every sexual act before doing it. THat kinda ruins the fun and spontaneousness of it. Maybe that's just me.
And I don't think having a guy flip flip you over or throw up your legs is exactly being "dominated."
But yeah, this chick sounds conservative to say the least, so maybe thats the way to go.

no drugs of any kind, only one kind of condom so far. i don't think that convincing her to try some new things is going to be difficult. more foreplay! whoo hoo!!

Anal sex is wicked dangerous. First off, you're a zillion times more likely to catch ALL kinds of bacterial/viral/etc. infections. This is why HIV and a host of other STDs are WAY more prevelant in gay men. Even if your girl has no STDs, she still has the same bacteria up there that the rest of us have. You'd be putting yourself at risk..
Plus, you can also cause major physical damage -- I won't be graphic, but the membranes are only a couple cells' thick and fragile. I've read about gay men ending up with collostomy bags because they had accidents.
I didn't read through ALL the posts, but in case nobody brought it up, how about porn? :D

Maybe thinking that kinda stuff is smut could make for some interesting nights tho. Like "We're gonna be dirty tonight" for you is just a normal day in the park for the rest of us. *shrug*
wow, what an amusing thread.
Lasting a long time is definitely better than being too fast, but I know I had a bf who always liked to go for an hour or more and eventually it got super uncomfortable for me.
JDT my recommendation - aisde from the aforementioned experimenting with different condoms etc - would be to see if she'll let you do her from behind. (I'm not talking anal sex) It can be a little tricky, but every guy I've ever been with came way fast in that position. It makes things a lot tighter so there's more friction.
So you know... do your thing, get her off however works best for her (it's not a great position for stimulating the girl, unfortunately) and then see if she'll flip over for you. ;) I know for me I pretty much have to be on top to get enough stimulation to climax, so we usually do that first and then I do whatever the guy wants/needs. (you know, if me being on top didn't work for him, too.)

I didn't say that, or mean that, either. I was just using the word "smut" in a more general term. I don't think its dirty or gross, really... if I did would I go down on her? I think not.

JDT - I second Cole's recommendation. I've found that even with condoms, every guy I have been with has preferred this position over all others. However, in my experience at least, you have to be really careful with this position if you are much bigger than she is. I have a relatively small build - 5'2"ish and weigh 102 - and my partners have always tended to be much bigger than I am - usually above 6' tall and weigh over 200 lbs. I've found that position to be EXTREMELY painful if the guy doesn't start off very slow and very gentle.

See I think she has the reverse "problem"... in that it doesn't take her very long at all to orgasm. This is good for her, I admit it.
I'm mad at her at the moment anyway. End of thread.
