well you guys read my other post about my job, and everything else, today they called me in and said due to a lack of business, they were letting me out of my 2 week notice a week early (unpaid i might add :( ) im pretty sure i was gonna be canned when i gave my 2 weeks in last week anyway so i guess i at least got another week out of them...

i have to move within 3 weeks and i have no clue where, i have more debts than assets at this point, and im just plain sick of the rat race... when is it time to be laid to rest? :(

I'm sorry to hear this.

Where are you? Are you looking to make a big (expensive?) move, or just to a new abode?

Have you begun looking for a new (if temporary) job yet?

go get a job waiting tables or something that you can walk into to get some fast cash until you find another job.

Also see if you can find a sublet or monthly lease, so that you can just get somewhere that yuo can chill for a little bit and figure things out. A sublet might be cheap, too.

This will give you some breathing room, so that before you do anything permanent, you have a little space to figure out where you want to go and what you want to do.

i am thinking about a major move, either from AZ back to FLA, or moving back to my parents in indiana... i dont really want to move back home though...

the only reason i was gonna stay in phoenix was my job, with that gone, i dont have any reason to stay here, i have a few friends but not that many, i still have a LOT of friends back in fla.

if i do move i gotta sell my work beater, everyone tells me i should sell the fun car, but that is the one thing keeping me happy enough not to /off myself.

I think that you should consider moving back with your parents if you don't want to stay where you are. You can probably save a ton of money that way and finding a job takes a long time these days. Even entry level or waiting tables.

If you can move back in with your parents, I say go for that. Some people our age can't ever move back home and if you can, then that's a great. You'll be able to save up some money while trying to figure out things and just have a job to pay off some bills.

If you can find a job that is similar to what you do now in the Phoenix area in the next week or so, that might be your next option. There are tons of places to move to out here and there's probably a lot of temporary housing available near ASU especially with their semester ending soon.

Good luck to ya!

problem is, i hated what i was doing, im in the IT field and i want to change, and i was doing a field tech job and the driving in city traffic was causing me to go crazy.. i would swear at people in traffic, and do a bunch of other things i shouldnt have been doing, on more than one occasion while sitting in a traffic jam on a bridge i seriously considered getting out of the car, walking over to the bridge and jumping off.

i dont think i belong in big cities, i cant deal with the traffic and the stress.

moving back to indiana i dont know, it could work i guess, until fall, then i would have to get out, i hate winters with a passion.

i dunno what to do anymore, i feel like my life is going around in a circle and every 6-8 months im back at square 1.

i think the start of all this was with my roommate and best friend getting deployed, and with him moving (one of the reasons i came out here was to save money) i would be spending double my monthly expenses almost on rent and utils and such... and since i dont really like the area, that depressed me, and with my job not going well, i got even more depressed, i guess im glad i quit before i moved into another apartment and was locked into a lease
