Methasterone, marketd as "superdrol" or "Halodrol-50" by Gaspari Nutrition? I'm intrigued, but if some of the stuff I'm hearing is true, I'm now of the mindset (I wasn't always) that it might not be such a hot idea to screw with mother nature.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone's had any personal experience & what their results were like?

That's pretty much what I'm hearing about them (except that they are commercially packaged & readily obtained on the internet, which is, to say the least, intriguing). Unlike the andro products that were precursors, apparently this is the real deal. A buddy of mine is coming to town in a week & a half to do a powerlifting contest, & I 'spose I'll go out there to help him. He's the one that initially told me about the 1st of the 2 products, & evidently he's expecting some great things in a couple of sundays. I was just wondering if anyone else had any personal experiences with it.

The article I posted was from the US Anti-doping agency, so if your friend is using it in a sactioned event, chances are he'll get caught.
There's no replacing hard work at the gym and with your diet. Any other shortcut usually will be catastrophic in the end.

Oh, it's sanctioned, but it's not drug free. There are sanctions that make no claims to 'drug free,' & one meet director of a 'drug free' sanction told me that he was only required to test 10%. It's not the ethics of the issue I'm concerned of, it's fairly well accepted that the real big lifts are a product of some kind of good chemistry, I'm starting to take a renewed concern about long term health.

Regardless, I'm with you--I'm intrigued, but I'm gonna stay away from the stuff, no matter how easily obtainable it presently is.
