Ok, this obviously is not politics related, but it didn't really have a group to be placed. I am just completely confused over this J Lo and Ben coverage. Who cares if they get a gun permit? Who cares about the marriage date? I'm surprised the news isn't telling us when the last time Ben shaved. Leave these poor people alone. If they get married, great.. let them get married and give them the option to share pictures with the public. The price of fame is not worth all of this exposure.

You guys have to show some sympathy for people who work in news and have to cover this lame shiite...
everyday we hear: "hey, could you cut a VO with Ben and Jlo at the maid in manhattan premiere?"

If the audience would stop caring, we could too!

This is a prime example of why news shouldn't be a profit vehicle. The important stories get swept under - we had a day where Bush said that there would be no testing for weapons purchased for the failed "DEFENSE" shield - it was a blank check for the military industry paid for by you and me - but Ben and JLO were spotted with a RING that day, so the story was nixed.

You may have a point. I may be part of the minority who does not care what J Lo has for breakfast. The news doesn't even have to be true and people buy it up. National Enquirer would not be in business if it wasn't the case.

Write letters to local and national NEWS DIRECTORS demandning something more. It can change things.
