It hasn't been that warm yet. I have a rule. You have to be able to wear sandals and other summer stuff for a 3 days in a row before you can break it all out. We haven't had that yet.

Summer is the only season that I dread. We went from a late-rainy winter straight into summer. I don't remember Spring. I don't think I'll see any below 90-degree weather until October.

But now I can wear more open-toed shoes and have an excuse to get pedicures more often. :)

I can tell you what I hate about spring: allergies.

I feel like I have tiny bugs crawling all over my eyeballs and pepper up my nose. I keep sneezing, which then hurts my head, I have to carry tissues around for my snotty nose and sometimes the roof of my mouth itches. Ugh!

I live in Phoenix. A cool day in Phoenix in the summer is when it's 105 degrees outside - in the shade. There are nights when the low temp is 95 degrees!

I can tolerate the summer, but the winter months here are fabulous!

What is the temperature like in winter months?

I live in the desert, to it's really warm in the summer, and nice and cold in the winter. I think an average winter day is in the 60s. There are nights when it could dip in the high 20s, low 30s. To people that live here year-round, that's cold. There are a lot of part time residents who are here in the winter months. Most of them are from the east coast and mid west.

Phoenix has great weather 8.5 months out of the year. :)

LOL. I don't think I could ever live in the east coast or mid west because of the winter months. I get cold when it's 50-60 degrees outside.

I also used to have bad spring allergies (as well as bad summer, fall, and winter ones). So my weekly allergy shots have helped. Supposedly people with allergies do better here in AZ. I'm guessing it's because it so dry out here most of the year. Only about a month and a half of the year when it's humid, during monsoons which is usually July and August.

I do like summer her in Phoenix better than a summer in So. Cali. It's humid there and most places (like all my family that lives there) don't have A/C. Here, there's A/C everywhere so you're always comfortable indoors or in your car during the summer months.

I love spring flowers, and the idea that summer is coming...

Its autumn here though so that won't be for quite a while.

Being either barefoot or in sandals all from end of May through the summer.
Breaking out the fun skirts- I like my summer wardrobe so much better.
People seem to be in better spirits.
Spending time outside; whether it's a long walk, at the beach, just hanging out
It doesn't feel like the day is over when I leave work since it's still light out!

I do love those nice 65-degree spring days which are perfect for jeans-and-a-tee-shirt, but man am I dreading summer; the heat drains me..
Call me crazy but I miss winter. Yeah sometimes it gets too cold in winter, but my ideal temp is around 35. at least when it's cold it pumps me up, whereas the heat just gives me a headache and makes me want to lie in a bed where there's a/c

Pros: Lighter clothing, nice weather, fresh air, flowers

Cons: seeing old men and drunks out in dirty wifebeaters and shorts; seeing "pigeons" out in clothes that are way too tight for them

I can guess at what you mean, but I have never heard that term before.

Ghetto and tacky females. (Based on the song "No Pigeons" by Sporty Thievz, as a "comeback" to TLC's "No Scrubs.")

Also known as chickenheads. Maybe it's just in the DC/B-more area.

Nothing like a spring day in Phoenix when it's supposed to be 110 today, and 113 by Sunday! Yay for spring? I think Phoenix just goes from winter to summer.

We're a little more relaxed at this office than our CA office when it comes to dressing at work. It's just so hot here that we all want to be comfortable but still dressed appropriately at work. No flip-flops, but I have a few dressy shoes that are flip-flopy so close enough. :)
