I just got the first season of the BBC show THE OFFICE. Its really funny.

Also pulled down the new Belle and Sebastian Album, and something called DIZZEE RASCAL.
Both interesting.

On TV, replays of the West Wing on Bravo, a show on FX called NIP/TUCK, and an NBC show called VEGAS are fantastic.

Also readign the David Brooks book "BOBOs" - love it. Found out about the book on this website. Good call.

Any suggestions on various forms of media you're into?

Texas Hold Em'. Quite possibly the greatest card game in the world. So far I've made 30bucks online and I won $136 at Foxwoods a couple of weeks ago.

"Strong Medicine" on Lifetime, Sunday nights at 10pm is actually pretty good. It's not too "lifetimey" although I'm sure it appeals more to women than to men. It's had some pretty crazy story lines.

This is almost embarrassing, but I love American Dreams on Sunday nights, about the girl from Philadelphia in the 60's (I am from suburban philly). I have been listening to a lot of Coldplay...one of my friends just intorduced me to Belle and Sebastian, I really like it , I was suprised. I just ordered the red tent from Amazon, so that is what I will be reading, soon.

On my trip to Boston last week I went to a party at one of my old college roommates' house. They were playing a card game called "Apples to Apples" best card game I have ever played, much better than any of those lame drinking games people played in school, i.e. Asshole and jerk. Have any of you played this before? I'm going to buy it for myself as well as others for the holidays.

Besides that the baseball playoffs have been all consuming for me.

P.S. I could really use suggestions of what to do at work when you're bored, so keep these ideas coming! Like, are there websites that have good streaming videos I could watch?

here you go...a classic b&w Night of the Living Dead (1968) (http://www.netbroadcaster.com/movies/horror/nightoflivingdead.html)...required Windows Media...recommend T1 for a watchable version...

There are also few other steaming movies on the left under movie catagory...

I'm also a big fan of Stuff and Maxim. I like them much better than Cosmo and Glamor. I find them funnier and more light-hearted. Women's magazines tend to take themselves too seriously. Come on...how many tips do you need on sex?? I mean, if you don't know how to do it by now.

I've gotten really into riding the bus lately. For some reason I never thought of it before but once I started I can't stop. I live in Cleveland, and the buses here are really pretty good. We even have a few rail lines too, which are sweet.

Whenever I ride the bus it makes me feel great...saves me a lot of money on my car, but the best part is how I can just relax while I watch all the other stressy drivers stuck in traffic. When I get home at the end of the day, I just am not as tired.

And plus, parking on my street is a B*tch, it always takes 15 minutes to find a spot 2 blocks away, while the bus stops directly in front of my apartment...can't beat that.
