Why are some companies still trying to recruit me for Sales Rep positions when obviously my resume indicates that I clearly want a Desktop Support (or related) position?

So, I listed the Sales Rep position in my resume to minimize employment gaps, but clearly I absolutely do not want anything to have to do with being in Sales!

The double edged sword of minimizing gaps is getting hits for positions that clearly are not in your radar. :mad: :mad: :mad:

Because there are more sales-related positions available out there than anything else. "Well, we do have openings in sales" is like an automatic mantra for most places.
