Creepiness in the work place

We (finally, a mixed blessing) get work in. We're working and this guy just walks in, an older man with a fishing cap on his head. He just is staring into space. No reaction...nothing. He comes in with a contract. I nervously approach him, but try to act friendly. He hands me the contract's checklist (which he is supposed to keep) as opposed to the actual contract. I explain to him what parts we needed, and I check it over. He's still staring.

"It takes 7-10 business days to process after it gets put into our system," I say.

"Okay," he barely mumbles, and leaves.

(shudder) We really need a doorbell or buzzer or something. I hate it when people come in off the street like that.

i think i posted about this awhile ago, but there is a person whom i (rarely) work with who really creeps me out. on two occasions i have been talking to him 1-on-1 about a technical topic, not using humour or anything, and while i'm talking, he's smiling, and WINKING. it comes across as very "aww, you're so cute, sounding all technical".

As for the smiling, maybe YOU had something in your eye and he found it funny..

oh, and this same guy also has a tendency to drool out one side of his mouth while he's talking, and not wipe it away until it reaches the chin-ular area. *shudder*

Have u ever gone into work, and you've got a strange feeling something is either going on or something isnt right but you cant put ur finger on it. And the whole day things are just weird.
