View Full Version : what state or country are you from?
I'm from NJ. Do you think location has anything to do with the level of each one's quarterlife crisis?

Location can totally have something to do with a quarter life crisis. I moved to Hong Kong and boy did this environment throw me for a loop. I came from a suburb in Washington State. Hong Kong (though I'm Asian) is so different. Living with someone I know is great, but I think that one can be trapped from where they are living, especially if they didn't grow u por experience a lot there in happy/fun times.

Definitely! Quarterlife crisis already is a culture shock of sorts, but if you come to a new country, the effect is multiplied and you could be experiencing both qlc and culture shock at the same time. And it could happen that neither you nor anyone else around you is able to pinpoint what's going on, why you're feeling nervous or depressed etc...
