This was the greatest game ever! Even those of you who aren't Yankees fans like myself have to agree that it was awesome. The Yankees came full circle - Giambi got 2 homers after a huge slump, Posada came through in the clutch and Boone comes through in the end to quash all the "why did we trade one of our top prospects for this guy?" talk. And best of all they stuck it to Pedro. Go Yanks!

I disagree.
That is all.

I'm sorry but that had to be one of the greatest games ever. Yes, the NL LCS of 86 was very good (as much as I disliked the Mets then) but nothing could have topped this LCS. I think a majority of the Yankee fans everywhere would be fine losing the World Series to the Marlins just as long as the Yanks beat the Sox. This series had everything. Maybe I'm being biased. Actually yes I am being biased but from Wakefield's awesome starting pitching to the infamous Game 3 to Boone's unlikly home run, this series had everything. Just ask the hundreds of thousands of Red Sox and Yankees fans who drained emotionally and physically from the 7 game series.
By the The Sports Guy is a god (small G). ESPN.com better keep him happy or they will make plenty of readers very unhappy. He actually makes me feel sorry for Red Sox fans...well not completely sorry.
