sorry i keep asking questions about this, but I have another one...

I recently completed a supervisory/leadership training course, and it was through Shippensburg University. Should I add this to my resume and if so where does it go (education/experience with my current job/other)??

thanks so much! :huge:

I would put it under education, in a new category called "Additional Study." That's where I put any seminars, training sessions, leadership institutes, etc.

A lot of people have a Training/Certification section on their resumes where they can put things like that. It all depends what else you have that's similar to that that you could group together.

i would recommend expanding your "education" section of your resume to a broader title of "education and training" or similar, and list it there. people who look at a lot of resumes tend to skim them and if you have things like certificates listed with your employment or elsewhere they are more likely to be missed. keep your sections simple and with similar data in them.

good luck and feel free to PM me if you'd like more help. i do resumes for my friends all the time.
