Hi - new here, first post. I have probably been having a QLC for the past 27 years if that's possible. I am starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel though. I am moving back in with a very supportive family for 6 months, to save money. Then, I am planning to relocate. I live in Atlanta, and although it's a nice place, it's not for me. I have to admit though, that I'm terrified of moving to a new city where I don't know ANYONE. Does anyone else have any experience with this? I'm hoping to hear some positive stories... Thanks!

Not that I am any good at it at all, but I did the same thing 4 years ago. I moved to a big city after living in small cities all my life. I met people thru work and school (I came for grad school). As time went by I found some of the people I went to undergrad with also lived here, I also made new friends thru work. I know this is odd because where Iwork we are a big group of friends. But I tried to meet people on the internet (as we all know there are alot of frogs out there!), so now I just kinda live day by day, its still hard, and I still wonder why I decided to remain here instead of moving to my hometown where I have a bunch of friends. I think its always hard to do, but as long as your okay with getting to know yourself, spending time with yourself, and trusting in God that when your meant to meet people, he'll hook you up with the right people. I also think its important to have a support system to complain to, whine about your lack of friends, someone who understands and doesn't yell because they are sick of your complaining.
I hope this helps!!
