So tonight after I get off from bartending, I go to a bar were, a really good friend & I go, for a drink. Turns out shes there with some people that work at another bar that we go to. cool.


So I ask her if she needs a drink and she does.She gives me money for her drink. Well, the drink turns out to be on the house so I give her money back except for a dollar tip.. She turns around and goes up stairs with me behind her and ASKES the bartender if it was on the house or if I was lying. I tell her that I don't need that kind of bs.

About 75% of the drinks I get are on the house from this bar. 1. I went hs with the owner and 1 of bartenders. 2. I tip really well.

Granted, she had a few drinks before I got there but I've never been that embarassed. should I say any thing to her about it?

Why does she care if the drink was on the house or not? Is she worried that you're paying for her drinks and not telling her? This sounds silly and immature to me.

To answer your question, it would be silly to say anything about it this long after the fact. Let it, and her, go.

I have to agree with CT. That was pretty petty on her part. I would have just looked at you asjked if you were sure and then said thanks.

uscuba, please, please, please tell me you have normal female friends and you've just been bitching about the wierd ones. Just once, I'd like you to share a story about a female friend who isn't immature/distrustful/rude just to keep things interesting. You either have really bad taste in female friends, or you do something that you aren't mentioning to weird these females out or you live near a biogenetic experimentation facility that kidnaps the normal ones and cranks out these anomalies.

Yea I think it's weird that she cares so much if the drink was on the house or paid for. Either way, I would enjoy a free drink!
