When/How Do You Tell Her

As I stated in previous threads I just got a new full time job which I will be starting soon. Then I posted about getting an apartment and that I've already started looking. I mentioned that it's going to take me 4 to 6 months to make sure everything is stable and that things are going to work before I move out.

Now lets say in that course of time I meet a girl whom I want to date. How and when would I tell her about my living at home situation and that things are in the working for me moving out? Or should I just wait it out that long (miserably) and then date once I've got my own place?

if you met somebody you liked, how would you feel if they called you 4 months later.............be upfront about your situation, as it is what it is.....

I wouldn't worry about the "what if" situations. You can't predict when you'll meet someone so just let life happen.

I agree that you shouldn't get too worried about the "what ifs"

If you do meet a girl and start dating her, she's gonna need to know where you live, that's not something you can really hide, so just be totally upfront about living at home, and that it's just a temporary thing. Any girl who's interested enough to date you isn't gonna dump you because you're living at home for a little while - and if she does, she clearly wasn't worth your trouble anyhow!

I think this is def. one of those things that falls in the "cross that bridge when you come to it" territory.

Be honest....let her know. My bf was living at home for a bit when we first met and he told me and I had no problem with it. Alot of people do it and its no uncommon.

If she doesn't like it....then she's not the one for you.
