Without the 4th quarter defense, it would have been a loss. Miami is pretty good, though...

Being recently relocated from Pittsburgh, my sweet sweet city of birth, it was awesome to see how nice it looked in all the shots.

And by 'it', I do not mean Bill Cowher's chin.

The game was...interesting, since that's not normally how the Steelers play. It looked, forgive me, sloppy. Personally, I'm attributing that to Charlie's excitability and overwhelming desire to keep 60,000 salivating fans from turning him into the next Tommy Maddox. He did a good job for the first game of the season.

I'm a fan of the new signs, too... 'Six in '06'...'Don't stop there, the other hand's bare'...'Six appeal'...oh, let the mockery begin...

(Personally like 'Six in '06'...but it's a wee bit early in the season for that type of nonsense!)

i was never much of a sports/football fan until about 3 years ago...i guess you can say i jumped on the band wagon when the Steelers starting kicking ass again.

But yeah living in PGH is awesome especially when the Steelers are Superbowl champs again!!!

The Steelers hands down have the most fans across the nation. Go to a Steelers game in any state and there is a TON of black and gold there. Gotta love it!!

Looks like Ben will be starting on Monday night...too bad I don't have cable and therefore will not get to see it since it is now on ESPN.

There's a guy here in Annapolis who lives in my apartment complex who's got a 'Luv Ya Black and Gold' sticker on his truck. It's awesome.

And I've moved, HC30. Sorry, buddy. It was past due.

But don't you worry - my Terrible Towel has come with me to Annapolis and has already been the source of much consternation here in the office. Seems that everyone is slightly dismayed to have a longtime, hardcore Steelers fan dropped in their midst at the start of football season - and with the Steelers coming off XL...I'm expected to be a royal pain in the ass. But I'm gracious enough - after all, Steeler Nation can't have every single ambassador in black and gold being a mulleted, ICLight guzzling champion.
