Ok... this might be a vaguely stupid question, but I'm going to ask anyway.

I have been playing darts for the past few months on a fairly regular basis. I'm actually getting pretty decent. Here is my issue.... I HATE playing with bar darts. I usually end up playing with the darts of whoever my partner is or whoever I am playing against. However, I don't know anything about picking out a good set of darts. I can buy some at Walmart for $20, but are they decent or will they just fall apart? I don't intend to invest alot of money in it as I don't play in a league, but I'd like to find a nice set to play with on the weekends.

Anyone have any suggestions or helpful hints?

I LOVE to play darts, there's actually a couple of really good web sites that you can go to to buy them as house darts suck ass. Walmarts aren't bad, or try http://www.a-zdarts.com/. Their prices vary and then you could also get cool looking flights :huge:

My husband has a dartboard in our basement - its only from Walmart, but he wound up getting really nice darts after awhile. I don't think it matters, and if you get that into it, then definately think about splurging and getting a nicer one!

I got some darts from Wal-Mart once, and had a tip break off in a way that made them un-usable.

Then got some at a sporting goods store, but the case they came with sucked.

Best place would probably be the internet.
